HIV - Human Immunodeficiency Virus

AIDS is considered to be a fairly new virus. An estimated 33.6 million people worldwide are infected with HIV. Half of these infections occured in the age group 15-25 years old. AIDS is considered to be the "black plague" of the present. No cure nor vaccine has yet been found.
